Doug Scalia, 42, Sales, Walnut Creek, Calif., USA: "I think things are picking up; things are getting better. Certainly where we are there are a lot of companies that are up-and-coming. There are a lot of startup companies. ... A lot of excitement behind that. …There are lots of opportunities being presented. There is a lot of growth and opportunities for a lot of folks.
