Georgia’s third-largest county will add two early voting locations ahead of the critical Senate runoff election in January, officials said, following backlash over reports that Cobb County would cut the number of such sites by half.

“Responding to concerns about adequate advance voting locations for the January 5 runoff election, Cobb Elections will make adjustments to voting sites for the advance voting period starting next week,” Cobb County elections officials said in a Dec. 9 statement.
