The Internet shows us that friendships know no race, color or even species.
Case in point, a dog-rat duo that has generated a lot of buzz lately. They even have their own Instagram page which reads, “Osiris is a 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix. Riff Ratt is a 3-month-old fancy rat. They live in Chicago and they’re BFFs.”
Images and videos posted online show them having fun and generally enjoying each other’s company. The canine, found abandoned in a parking lot three years ago, is a therapy dog.
Their friendship is a treat to watch. Let’s hope they don’t let the newfound fame go to their heads.
