Frustrated with the Cryptarch and his “inability” to translate your Legendary engrams into Legendary items?
Bungie released Patch 1.02 on October 1, and it brings perhaps the best change to Destiny to date.
Decoding all Legendary (purple) engrams at the Cryptarch will finally produce Legendary quality or higher items, so Guardians will no longer have the urge to fling their controller in rage and angst as they watch the Cryptarch turn their Legendary engrams to Rare items.
The once miserly Cryptarch will also show his more generous side post Patch 1.02 as all Rare (blue) engrams will produce Rare quality or better items. This means that there is more chance to get Legendary items, which is good news all round.
Bungie has also increased the Legendary and Rare engram drops for the Tiger Strike playlist, the Daily Heroic Missions, and the Weekly Heroic Missions.

Struggling to locate the raid loot chests? See a video guide from IGN below.
Chest 1
It can be picked up just after the first area.
Activate the three sync plates in the starting area to enter the Vault of Glass. Chest 1 can be found along the way to the first boss.
Chest 2
After defeating the Templar, a cave should appear in the wall. Chest 2 can be found here, and it should only contain Spirit Bloom.
Chest 3
This can be found in the Gorgon’s cave.
Head left after you jump to the bottom of the pit.
Look to your left and locate a little cave in the wall.
Use the rocks to jump up into the cave.
Once in, just follow the path through a large circular door way for Chest 3.
Chest 4
At the bottom of the pit in Gorgon’s cave, follow the right hand wall instead and you will find the chest in a large circular room.
