Dead Dog Found Tied to Shovel on Beach in Marina del Rey, California

A dead dog was found on the Mother’s Beach in Marina del Rey, California. The dog was tied to a shovel buried deep in the sand and apparently drowned when the tide came.

The animal was found by canoers, who spotted the shovel and then discovered the dog’s body, ABC7.com reported.

The dog had an identification tag.
