Chen Guangcheng, a blind Chinese human rights lawyer who fled China and arrived in the United States in 2012, has called on democratic countries and voters to support President Donald Trump in confronting challenges posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

“The CCP is an enemy of humanity. It is terrorizing its own people and it is threatening the well-being of the world,” Chen said on Aug. 26 as a speaker at the third night of the Republican National Convention (RNC), themed “Land of Heroes.
