Camp Pendleton Brush Fire at 1,500 Acres: Report

A brush fire at Camp Pendleton spread to more than 1,500 acres by Sunday morning, reports the L.A. Times.

The military housing area and base hospital were evacuated. The fire was 15 percent contained.
