Black Sails, a new show from Starz, is set for premiere on January 25.
Episode 1 has already been released in full from Starz.
The new show follows pirates and those who work with them. Cast members include Captain Flint (Toby Stephens). Flint “is known throughout the West Indies as being the most feared of all the Golden Age pirates,” according to his official description, and is in charge of a ship called the Walrus. Other cast members include Eleanor Guthrie (Hannah New), the daughter of Richard Guthrie, the wealthiest black marketeer in the Bahamas, who works with many of the pirate crews; and John Silver (Luke Arnold), who is part of Flint’s crew but often clashes with the captain.
