The PC specs for Alien Isolation are out.
Publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly’s upcoming survival-horror title went gold recently, and is slated for a worldwide release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC on October 7.
The game is set fifteen years after the events of the 1979 movie Alien, and players will assume the role of Amanda Ripley, daughter of the legendary Ellen Ripley (played by Sigourney Weaver in the movies).
Like her mother, Amanda will become a Weyland-Yutani employee.
After hearing news that the flight recorder of the Nostromo, the ill-fated ship her mother was on, had been recovered at the remote trading station Sevastopol, Amanda makes a trip there, only to discover that there is a Xenomorph alien like the one her mother fought at the station.
Gameplay-wise, the objective is to avoid the stalking Xenomorph, and accomplish a series of game objectives. Amanda won’t get any fire arms, but she has a range of equipment and a motion sensor to help her avoid getting noticed by Xenomorph, and get killed.
