Thursday morning, a truck driver lost control of his vehicle and the resulting crash spilled about 30,000 pounds of limes onto Highway 90 in San Antonio, reports KHOU. KSAT-TV reports the cargo was 40,000 pounds.
The driver and passenger were not injured.
The cleanup is expected to take four hours or so.
Interstate 37’s northbound and southbound connector to Interstate 10 westbound are closed during the cleanup.
