The Jeep Cherokee brand is known worldwide for being a spirited and fun vehicle to drive. Of course, Cherokee traces its DNA to the Jeep brand. Harsh terrain is a breeze with Cherokee and its expansive menu of capabilities.

An example is the Selec-Terrain traction management, a feature that is standard in the Latitude. You have five selectable settings (Auto, Snow, Sport, Sand/Mud, and Rock) that helps Jeep coordinate 12 drive systems including throttle control, transmission shifting, transfer case, traction control, and electronic stability control.

The Latitude is built around a 2.4 L Tigershark MultiAir 4-cylinder engine that generates 184 hp passed through a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Latitude’s engine delivers 21 mpg city and 28 mpg highway.

Or you can get the 3.2 L, 271 hp V6 which competes very well with Honda CR-V EX AWD, and Toyota RAV4 XLE AWD.

Cherokee Latitude 4X4 is a five-passenger all-wheel drive sport utility vehicle that has a challenging attitude and a spirit that allows you to have your way. However, this model has a different, less aggressive front end. On the other hand, with a width of 73.2 inches and length of 182 inches, the look still packs power, poise, and toughness that add up to a frisky attitude.

This vehicle has an appealing interior with a standard 5-inch touch screen, but I would recommend the 8.4-inch screen. While it doesn’t increase the size of buttons or icons, it does provide clarity in viewing navigation data.

The look still packs power, poise, and toughness.
