Archer Season 5 Premiere: What Happened in Episode 1? [Spoilers]

Archer season 5 got off to a crazy start with episode 1.

In the season opener, the offices of the ISIS are raided, because Mallory Archer allegedly didn’t have government authorization to run a spy agency.

The head FBI agent tries to get everyone to confess. Mallory tells everyone not to talk but everyone ends up confessing everything as sort of a series recap.

They cut a deal with the federal authorities, but can’t run the service anymore.

They get back to the ransacked ISIS headquarters, and open a secret drawer. Inside is a ton of cocaine.

Archer has a vision for Archer Vice, which is the global drug ring that should begin next episode and continue throughout much of the season. 

Also, a pregnant Lana Kane makes things interesting. 

Archer asked Lana to marry him as a way to take care of the baby but Lana tells him, “Don’t take this the wrong way but I’d rather lose the baby.”
