Apolo Ohno, Retired, Near Top of Most Winter Olympic Medals List

Apolo Ohno, one of the most famous American Winter Olympians of our time, is near the top of the list when it comes to most Olympic medals over one’s career.

Ohno is not competing in the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, after retiring and transitioning to being an announcer for speed skating.

Check out the top performers of all-time for both men and women below. The only person on the lists that is still competing is Ole Einar Bjorndalen.
