Amazon “biosphere” plans have been submitted to Seattle’s city planners.

The biopsheres will be constructed in Seattle and are complete with plants for its workers.

Documents filed with city planners in Seattle show the glass domes, which a proposed to be between 80 feet and 95 feet high.

“While the form of the building will be visually reminiscent of a greenhouse or conservatory, plant material will be selected for its ability to co-exist in a microclimate that also suits people,” reads the proposal.

The domes will be able to house a number of different plants as well as trees inside to allow Amazon employees to “work and socialize in a more natural, park-like setting,” it reads.

“In addition to a variety of workplace environments, the facility will incorporate dining, meeting and lounge spaces, as well as a variety of botanical zones modeled on montane ecologies found around the globe,” the documents continue.

According to the Seattle Times, Amazon bought three Seattle blocks for $207.5 million last December, which will house the biospheres and other offices if the city approves them.

“We all know what a typical office space is like,” John Savo of NBBJ, the architect for Amazon, said at a meeting last week, reported Seattle Times. “Wouldn’t it be cool to go into a building that’s more like a park and be comfortable?”
