Aaron Murray is an NFL player who currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 6'1” quarterback was drafted in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Aaron, 23, played at the University of Georgia.

According to NFL.com, Chiefs coach Andy Reid brought Murray in to compete for a backup position.

“Andy Reid values these guys. Now you bring in a guy who will compete to be the No. 3 guy against Tyler Bray in Year 1,” it reported.

“I think it’s pretty simple, they paid Chase Daniel big money last year. You’re lucky to get through a season with your No. 1 guy. They have Bray, who has a ton of arm talent. Now, they bring in a kid as clean as can be. The Chiefs have their young, developmental guy.”

Aaron is also the brother of former professional baseball player Josh Murray, who is currently one of three finalists in the Bachelorette. Some spoilers indicate that Josh ends up winning the show and getting engaged to Andi Dorfman.

Aaron actually has a longtime girlfriend, reporter Kacie McDonnell. The pair often share pictures.

The brothers are close. Aaron recently told ESPN: “I always give him a hard time. There was a time where he was stuttering on the TV, and I was like, ‘Josh, c’mon man, I didn’t teach you that.’”

Andi is leaning towards picking Josh but had some concerns during the hometown date, not pleased that Josh gave up his own pro career to help his little brother.

Aaron’s career has turned out well so far, becoming what some believe to be one of the best quarterbacks ever at Georgia. In his senior year he had a 158.8 passer rating with 26 touchdowns and just 9 interceptions.

The Chiefs signed him to a four-year deal at $2.4 million.
