Bar Refaeli and Hillary Duff have issued statements about allegations that nude photos of them were released this week.

The photos allegedly were part of a massive hack that released dozens of photos of celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton, on several websites, including 4chan and Reddit.

Refaeli, via Twitter, said the photos that purport to be of her are fakes.

She wrote, “Just wanted to let my fans know those photos of me that have been leaked are not me. It is an illegal act, please don’t participate.”

And Duff apparently alerted the FBI about the photos, but stressed they’re fakes.

Duff’s spokesperson told The Mirror: “Photos claiming to be Hilary Duff are completely fake. They are all from the neck down and absolutely fake. They do not have Hilary’s defining birthmarks or tattoos.”

She added: “We have alerted the FBI that these photos are fake.”

The FBI are going after the original hacker behind the leak.

A spokesperson with the agency told the Mirror that it’s “aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is addressing the matter.”

Both Upton and Lawrence confirmed that the photos of them are real.

“This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton’s privacy,” Upton lawyer Lawrence Shire told Us magazine. “We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible.”

And Lawrence also issued a similar statement about the matter.

“Jen is horrified over this leak and knows that this will possibly affect her upcoming roles,” a source told HollywoodLife.com about the matter. “She knows that A list stars don’t have this type of controversy attached to them and is very much horrified over the whole situation.”
