The new Ram 1500 is built to be durable and loaded with advanced technology. It drives admirably while flexing 12,750 pounds of towing muscle and 2,300 pounds of payload hauling prowess.

The ride in the Ram 1500 is the most comfortable in the pickup trucks I’ve driven this year. The secret lies in the suspension design.

Powering this truck is a 5.7L HEMI V8 engine supported by an 8HP75 8-speed automatic transmission. Gas consumption is rated at 15 mpg city and 22 mpg city, for a combined average of 18 mpg.

The Ram 1500 is America’s most powerful half-ton V8 pickup with an available supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 that delivers up to 650 lb-ft of torque. This powerful truck also be spec’ed to cover a range of up to 1,000 miles on a single tank of fuel. That fuel efficiency comes from the engine option with eTorque mild hybrid technology system.

The interior is big and comfortable, colored in Indigo/Sea Salt with premium quality 8-way power driver and front passenger bucket seats. It is “mouse quiet” inside, handles well, and is very responsive for a big truck. Ram Clean System keeps everything clean and smelling perfectly refreshing. Seats are heated and ventilated.

Uconnect 5 with Navigation infotainment system features a 12-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and a wireless charging pad save you from the hassle of a dangling wire to your phone.

Music is provided through 9 amplified speakers plus a subwoofer. Dual zone auto temperature control takes care of keeping the cabin comfortable.

This interior fits quite nicely with the Patriot Blue Pearl exterior resting on 20-inch polished wheels with inserts, wearing all-season tires.

Ram’s ready for the off-road with powerful engines and a great suspension rolling on superb tires mentioned above, providing enhanced handling and control.

Not only does Ram seat five in comfort, but the occupants are kept safe as well.

Full-speed Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Awareness, Rear Cross Path Detection, Parallel and Perpendicular Parking Assist, and largest-in-class 14.9-inch standard brakes all work to ensure passenger safety.

Ram 1500 has powerful engine choices, offers respectful mileage, and provides a luxurious, comfortable cabin. There is plenty of cabin storage in the rear under the seat storage compartment and second-row floor storage bins.

The MSRP starts at $61,695 for the Limited 4X2 model.

I would recommend the optional Trailer Tow Group ($1,095), consisting of Trailer Light Check, Trailer Reverse Steering Control, Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and Trailer Brake Controller.
