Inside, 10-way power adjustable front seats with adjustable side bolsters make it easy to find a comfortable position for each occupant. All seats have plush and comfortable padding.

The Cognac Perforated trim looked and felt well despite it being SensaTec synthetic leather. The stitched faux-leather dash and door covering add an extra degree of elegance to the luxurious interior.

Storage space is not expansive. The inside door panels have small storage pockets that are difficult to reach when the seats are occupied.

My test vehicle had a 12.3-inch infotainment display, which is the standard equipment. However, a big 19.3-inch display is also available. The center console has been reworked, but is still too small. Some secondary controls have been re-positioned.

Outside, the face of the X3 is prominently defined by a revised grille and new head lamps. Front and rear bumpers have also been updated along with the new wheel design.
