Two Disney World employees were among 17 arrested following a month-long child pornography sting operation by the the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

In a Nov. 8 press release by the Sheriff’s Office, officials said they had positively identified those arrested as people who possessed and shared child abuse images, noting that the youngest person arrested in the sting was just 19-years-old.

One of the men apprehended was 40-year-old Brett Kinney who told police that he was a guest experience manager at Disney World.

According to the press release, Kinney told detectives he had been addicted to child pornography for 22 years and would “search for images of boys from toddlers to 10 years old.”

Kinney was charged with one count of Promotion of Child Pornography and 24 counts of Possession of Child Pornography-Enhanced.

A Disney spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email that Kinney is no longer employed with the company following his arrest in the sting.

Another man, 52-year-old Donald Durr, Jr., also told detectives he was a custodial worker for Walt Disney World Resorts, the press release states.

Durr described himself to detectives as “a pervert, but not a monster,” according to the release, and had a tablet which contained three images of child pornography.

He also had a DVD which he had created himself nine years ago, which contained graphic images of a 10- to 11-year-old girl.

He was charged with eight counts of Possession of Child, and one count of Promote Sexual Performance by Child.

The Disney spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email that Durr is on unpaid leave.

According to the press release, another male who was arrested was also caught attempting to meet a child for sexual favors and two men were found pursuing naked pictures from two different 13-year-old girls using social media platforms, Snapchat and Facebook.

Even more disturbingly, one man told officials that he would “sexually batter children” if he didn’t look at child pornography.

“The people arrested during this operation prey on the most innocent and vulnerable among us—our children.

“The undercover detectives who investigate these crimes have to see things that nobody should have to see, and no child should have to experience. Each one of these arrests has removed a predator from our streets, and the internet,” Polk County Sheriff, Grady Judd, said in the release.

The 17 men arrested face a total of 626 charges—624 felonies, 2 misdemeanors—and the combined prior criminal histories of all of the men includes 114 felonies and 71 misdemeanors, the release states.
