A $10 billion COVID-19 funding bill worked out by Senate leadership has hit a snag in the chamber because of Republican objections over one of its immigration provisions.
Senate Republican and Democrat negotiators struck a deal on April 4 for the additional funding for the United States’ COVID-19 response, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) announced.
