Zsa Zsa Gabor, 93-year-old Hollywood actress, will not be able to leave the hospital any time soon due to an infection.
After experiencing a shock on Saturday—the day she was scheduled to leave the hospital—doctors wanted her to stay until Monday. However, the infection came in the way on Monday, forcing her to stay longer, said publicist John Blanchette in an Associated Press article.
{etRelated40506, 39746}The hospitalization started when Gabor fell off from her bed on July 17 while reaching for her wheelchair. After a successful hip replacement and a blood transfusion, the actress asked to recover at home Friday, Aug. 5, but the plan had to be delayed numerous times.
Fondly known as the “Hollywood Beauty” half a century ago, the socialite has been using a wheelchair since a car accident eight years ago.
