Young & Hungry is wrapping up season 1 on Wednesday night and fans are wondering whether the ABC Family show will get renewed or canceled.
The show follows wealthy and young tech entrepreneur Josh and feisty young food blogger Gabi.
The network has not yet announced a decision either way.
The ratings have been pretty low but still high enough that a renewal could be on its way.
The series started out with 1.1 million viewers overall and 0.5 million in the key 18-49 demographic, but dropped to an average of about .85 million overall and 0.38 million in the 18-49 demographic.
Another piece of evidence in support of a potential season 2 is that ABC Family hasn’t announced a cancellation as of yet.

In the episode, Young & Thirty (and getting married!), Josh and Caroline’s wedding is now happening in five days, sending Gabi into a panic about her feelings for Josh. Pushing aside her feelings, Gabi is excited to present Josh with a very special birthday gift. But when Caroline arrives, having clearly forgotten Josh’s birthday, Gabi offers to let her claim the gift as her own. However, Gabi is unprepared for Josh’s heartfelt reaction to the gift and wonders if she should tell the truth - potentially ruining the big day.
