Microsoft keeps on rolling out improvements to the Xbox One, and the latest October Update includes support for MKV streaming via the Media Player app and a completely redesigned ‘Friends’ section, among other enhancements.
A future update will bring some welcome additions for those eager to customize the look and feel of the console’s user interface. Microsoft’s head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has confirmed that the company is already working on giving users more freedom to customize the UI, as well as the ability to capture screenshots.
Speaking with The Inner Circle Podcast from XboxMAD, Spencer said: “I'll announce it here - I was told themes and background pics are something that we are working on, and screenshots - I know people beat me up on screenshots - [these are] things that we’re working on.”
