WWE star Dave “Batista” Bautista will play Mr. Hinx in the James Bond film “Spectre,” which will feature Daniel Craig as well.

Mr. Hinx, the character Batista, a former WWE Champion, is set to play will be in the same vein as Oddjob of Jaws.

The casting call sought an actor who is “imposing” and “extremely physically fit.” The character will also have “several fights with Bond,” per MailOnline.

Oscar award winner Christoph Walz will play Oberhauser, likely the arch-villain in the film.

“A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre,” says an official synopsis of the movie.

The movie will start filming in December.

Batista had played Drax in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which came out earlier this year. He also appeared in the 2012 film “Man With The Iron Fist” and “Riddick” in 2013.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, a fellow WWE star and actor, tweeted: “Congrats brotha D! Kill it!”

A few days ago, The Hollywood Reporter also said Batista took a role in the “Kickboxer” remake. Other cast members include former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and Jean Claude Van Damme, who was in the original film.

That film will star Alain Moussi as the main protagonist. “Kickboxer follows Kurt Sloane (Moussi), a talented martial artist who travels to Thailand, where he must learn the secrets of the kickboxer to avenge his brother’s death at the hands of Tong Po (Bautista). Carano will play a fight promoter,” says the Reporter.
