The new WWE Championship belt was bestowed upon Brock Lesnar on Monday Night Raw.
Lesnar became the World Heavyweight Champion after beating John Cena at SummerSlam on Sunday night.
Leading up to SummerSlam, Cena had taken to buttoning two belts together and wearing them like a necklace.
On Raw on Monday, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon--coming off her own win at SummerSlam--presented Lesnar with the new Championship.
It’s unclear who Lesnar will face coming up on the schedule as he works to defend the title.
Lesnar demolished Cena on Sunday night, to the delight of many fans but to the dismay of Cena supporters. “@BrockLesnar gave the most one sided match I’ve ever seen I can’t believe what I saw. I hope @JohnCena will be able to walk after that,” noted one Twitter user.
Other battles at SummerSlam included McMahon beating Brie Bella, Paige beating AJ Lee, and Roman Reigns beating Randy Orton.
