Western University Will Require Students to Receive COVID Booster, Wear Masks in Classrooms This Fall

Western University in London, Ont., will require all students enrolled in the upcoming fall semester to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and to have received at least one booster shot, as well as to wear masks during the duration of all classes and seminars on campus.

The vaccine and in-class masking requirement will apply to all students, staff, and faculty unless they can receive an exemption from the university before Oct. 1, according to a policy document from the university dated Aug. 22.
