The federal government has identified Western Australia’s (WA) Bunbury region for two proposed offshore wind developments, Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen confirmed on June 3.

A provisional decision has been made to grant a feasibility licence to Bunbury Offshore Wind Farm Pty Ltd for a project in the northern portion of the declared zone.
