Victorian Opposition Push Again for Tougher Protest Laws After Weekend of Violence

Victorian Opposition Leader Brad Battin has called on Premier Jacinta Allan to take tougher action on protests following last weekend’s violent clashes in Melbourne.
Back in late 2024, Premier Allan promised to change the law to ban masks at protests, but the legislation is yet to make it to parliament nearly a year on.
