Three Iranian fast-attack naval ships harassed two U.S. Navy ships entering the Persian Gulf, said Navy officials on Tuesday.

The Cyclone-class patrol coastal ship USS Sirocco and Spearhead-class USNS Choctaw County vessel were in the Strait of Hormuz when three Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGCN) Navy ships approached them, the Navy said in a statement.
