Spain Seizes $90 Million Yacht Owned by Sanctioned Russian Oligarch

On behalf of U.S. officials, Spanish police on Monday seized a luxury yacht believed to belong to Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg, the Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed.

The $90 million vessel, dubbed “Tango,” was impounded by Spain’s Civil Guard and U.S. federal agents who descended upon the yacht stationed in the shipyard of Palma de Mallorca in the Mediterranean.
