A hotel hosting tourists visiting one of Australia’s most iconic landmarks will change hands to a U.S. private equity-owned tourism company, with the deal to benefit Indigenous communities.

The Ayers Rock Resort, owned by the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation and operated by the corporation’s subsidiary Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, is the sole accommodation option for tourists visiting Uluru.
