President Donald Trump is seeking to negotiate a new nuclear deal with Iran to replace the one he withdrew from during his first term in office.

Speaking to reporters at the White House on March 7, Trump said his administration’s assessment of the situation between the United States and Iran is in its “final moments,” suggesting there could be a deal for Iranian oil or else military action.
