Transnational repression by foreign governments has been growing “unchecked” in the UK, a parliamentary committee warned in a report published on July 30.
The Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) said in its report that foreign states, including Russia, China, and Iran, have targeted individuals in the UK using a range of tactics, such as surveillance, online harassment, police bounties, Interpol Red Notices, lawsuits, and assassinations.
