Thousands of digital home pregnancy tests are being recalled after it was revealed that they are giving false results.
The British Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) issued the recall alert this morning (Oct. 4), warning that the Clear & Simple digital pregnancy tests may have incorrectly told women they are pregnant.
The Chinese manufacturer, Wondfo Biotech, said in a recall notice that customers should check the box for the defective batch number, DM10220170710E.The MHRA said its recall statement, “The manufacturer estimates more than 58,000 affected tests have been distributed in the UK.”
