The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued a warning for a severe thunderstorm in parts of northern Queensland, including Palmerville, Georgetown, and Gregory Springs.
“Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours,” according to the BOM website on Thursday afternoon.
