An independent probe into Tasmania’s salmon industry is being launched as the government seeks to appease crossbenchers ahead of a critical week in parliament.
The review would ensure the industry maintained its social licence while meeting environmental expectations, Liberal Premier Jeremy Rockliff said on Aug. 17.
