Russia Trying to Recruit Syrian Fighters in Ukraine Conflict: US Official

U.S. intelligence officials believe reports of Russians recruiting Syrian fighters in the Ukraine conflict are credible, a senior U.S. military official said Monday.
Speaking to reporters in a call, the official said it’s not clear how many have been recruited or if they have been sent to Ukraine as of Monday.
