Quebec Police Identify 2 Victims Fatally Injured in Amqui Hit and Run
Suspect charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death; more charges could be brought

Two pedestrians, who were killed in a hit and run in the eastern Quebec town of Amqui on March 13, have been identified by Quebec police as Jean Lafrenière, 73, and Gérald Charest, 65.
In an email to The Epoch Times, Quebec police spokeswoman Sergeant Hélène St-Pierre said besides the two victims fatally killed, there were additional pedestrians injured, ranging from an infant a few months old to one victim 77 years of age.
