The owners of a Quebec hair salon who were ordered to pay $500 to a non-binary person for offering only male and female options on their website say they will appeal the Quebec Human Rights Tribunal’s decision.

The owners of Station10 salon in Longueuil, Que., told CBC Radio-Canada that an outpouring of support from Canadians convinced them to appeal, and an influx of donations will help fund the legal battle.
