A former Greens candidate whose protest arrest ended with police allegedly causing a serious eye injury has had the charges against her dropped.

Hannah Thomas was charged with hindering or resisting police and two counts of refusing to comply with a move-on direction during the allegedly unauthorised protest in Sydney’s southwest on June 27.
