OTTAWA—Western Canada and Ontario say they weren’t consulted about the federal government’s new goal for cutting greenhouse gas pollution by 2030.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau pledged at a recent global leaders summit to reduce emissions by 40 to 45 percent below 2005 levels by the end of the decade.
