Prairie Provinces, Ontario Say No Consultation on Canada’s New 2030 Emissions Target

OTTAWA—Western Canada and Ontario say they weren’t consulted about the federal government’s new goal for cutting greenhouse gas pollution by 2030.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau pledged at a recent global leaders summit to reduce emissions by 40 to 45 percent below 2005 levels by the end of the decade.
