A classical musician locked in a legal battle with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra over his decision to interrupt a conflict to show support for Palestinian journalists killed during the Gaza War, is set to tour Australia.

Jayson Gillham has sued the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra after his scheduled concerts were cancelled amid “security concerns” after the pianist in August 2024 decided to play a surprise short piece for deceased journalists.
