Ontario Business Owner Fined $36.9M for Failing to Declare Exported Vehicles

The Canada Border Services Agency has issued a $36.9 million fine to an Ontario business owner for allegedly failing to declare more than 2,300 vehicles shipped from Canada. 
The exporter, who has not been named, is accused of shipping the vehicles to West Africa without completing the required export declarations, according to a Dec. 8 CBSA news release
