NSW Announces Up to $75,000 for Bondi Attack Victims’ Families

The package covers funerals, repatriation, travel costs, and includes new community hubs and security funding.

The New South Wales (NSW) government has announced payments of up to $75,000 (US$49,500) for the families of the victims of the Dec. 14 terror attack at Bondi Beach.

Under a joint state-federal arrangement, funeral and burial costs, overseas repatriation expenses, and travel for relatives from interstate or overseas attending funerals will be covered.
