California Gov. Gavin Newsom said that the state did not face any “imminent threats” after a news report stated that the Iranian regime planned to launch retaliatory drone attacks on his state.

“While we are not aware of any imminent threats at this time, we remain prepared for any emergency in our state,” Newsom wrote in an apparent response to the reporting by ABC News on the afternoon of March 11.
