Around a dozen U.S. service members have been injured during a strike on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, a U.S. official confirmed to The Epoch Times on March 27.

Two of the service members were seriously injured.

Iran’s First International News Network said in a post on its X account on March 28 that the incident was a result of Iranian missile strikes, with a video that allegedly showed how the base looked before and after the strikes.

“Satellite images show the destruction of US fuel tankers at Prince Sultan Air Base following Iranian missile strikes,” Iran’s First International News Network said in the caption.

Hours before Friday’s incident, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) told The Epoch Times that 303 U.S. service members were wounded in action, with 10 seriously hurt.

CENTCOM said 273 of them have returned to duty.

The United States and Israel attacked the Iranian regime on Feb. 28, killing Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, along with dozens of other top leaders, after which remaining senior officials retaliated by striking U.S. bases and Israeli targets in the region.

President Donald Trump has said the strikes on Iran were a preemptive attack to prevent the terrorism-supporting Iranian regime from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Trump discussed the Iran War during a speech at a Saudi-backed investment summit in Miami on Friday.

“I really believe we saved the Middle East,” Trump said at the Future Investment Initiative Priority Summit, which was hosted by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.

“We saved not just Israel, we saved the Middle East. And it was proven by all those rockets that fired down upon you. Saudi Arabia got hit a lot.”

Trump added that the United States was “achieving each and every one of the military objectives” established less than four weeks ago.
