NDP MP Lori Idlout Crosses Floor to Join Liberals

The move brings the Liberals’ seat count to 170, two shy of a majority.

Nunavut MP Lori Idlout has left the NDP to join the Liberals, bringing the governing party closer to a majority.

Interim NDP Leader Don Davies said in a statement on March 10 that his party is “very disappointed” that Idlout has decided to cross the floor.
