Victoria’s opposition leader has called for the health minister to stand down while comparing the outbreak at a hotel used by the government to quarantine COVID-19 patients to New South Wales’ Ruby Princess outbreak.

Victorian opposition leader, MP Michael O'Brien, said Minister for Health Jenny Mikakos had “botched” the job of managing the COVID-19 hotel quarantine program and said the government needs to take responsibility for its mistakes.
