Moscow, Crimea Beset by Drones as Kyiv’s Offensive Appears to Shift Focus
Twice in the past three days, attack drones have struck a financial district in Moscow, posing what the Kremlin describes as a “clear and present” danger. Kyiv, for its part, has hailed recent attacks—in both Moscow and Crimea—while declining to take responsibility for them.

The Russian capital remained plagued by aerial drones on Aug. 1, as military planners in Ukraine appear to have shifted their focus from a ground offensive to the skies over Moscow.
In the early hours of Aug. 1, Moscow’s Moskva-Citi business district was targeted for the second time by aerial drones, Russian authorities said.
