Several vehicle manufacturers have issued recalls over safety concerns that impact more than 20,000 vehicles. Here is a list of the affected makes and models.

Hyundai

Hyundai is recalling 9,669 vehicles over a trailer wiring harness that may not have been correctly manufactured, allowing water to leak into the harness. The harness was installed before delivery or sold as a dealer accessory, according to the Transport Canada recall notice.

Hyundai said if water gets into the harness, the vehicle’s trailer lights and stop lights may not work. It could cause a collision as other drivers will not be able to recognize if the vehicle is braking, turning, or changing lanes. The issue can also cause a short circuit in the wiring harness and may result in a fire.
